Can I Just Say ….
I HATE COMPUTERS ….
Okay, I had my night all planned out with work I was going to get done, when I turned my computer on and nothing … dead black screen. So I call tech. support and I am not sure the guy I was talking too really knew what he was doing. He said my hard drives failed, which while I have all my files backed up in other locations, is not something a photographer wants to hear. So he had me open up my computer and try disconnecting and reconnected wires … I was not happy. I was afraid I was going to break something. Anyway, long story short …. all fixed and everything is fine. But I still hate computers.
So not that you really care about my computer issues, lol …. but it kept me from taking pictures of a really super cool new sample album I received today. It was from Sal and Gina’s wedding which I posted not too long ago. Well I guess that will have to be tomorrow’s post. Until then here is a cute picture I took of Elliot recently. Good Night!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Hi Everyone!
Happy New Year!!!
Well I hope 2007 was as good for you as it was for me. And my hope for all of you is that 2008 is even better.
January is my catch up time and time to get refocused for the next year. January is also Vacation Time, lol. If you send me an e-mail the next two weeks you will receive an out of the office message. This week I will be catching up on some December projects, planning for 2008, hopefully finishing up a new website to be launched by the end of the month, and working on a new logo with a designer. This is going to keep me away from my e-mail and phone a bit. If you do e-mail me this week I will do my best to get back to you ASAP. On January 6th I will be on vacation and will really not be back into the office until January 16, 2007. The hubby and I are going to Hawaii!! (Don’t worry, I will have lots of pictures to show). During that time, it would be best to e-mail me and then I will get back to you when I return.
So congratulations to all those who got married in 2007. I hope your marriage continues to be blessed. Congrats to all those that got engaged in 2007. I wish you the best and know that I still have available dates for 2008 :).
May 2008 be blessed for all of you! And I plan for you to see me a lot more on this blog in 2008!

I’m Still Alive
LOL, yes I know its been forever!!!! I was just talking with one of my October brides who mentioned that I did not update my blog in awhile. I’m still alive just in the middle of a very busy wedding season, which has been wonderful. I have photographed some amazing weddings in the past few weeks. I hope this weekend or next to be a bit more caught up so I can actually show you some of the fabulous pictures. I do have to show at least one tease. I did a Trash the Dress session with Jenn and Chris a few weeks back. What fun!!!! I definitely recommend these sessions and you really don’t have to trash your dress. It just gives a great opportunity to get some more romantic wedding pictures.

These two are hot! So anyway things have been great and I look forward to the handful of weddings I still have left for this year. This is also a great time to start thinking about scheduling your holiday portrait sessions. I have lots of great things coming up, including an awesome new website. Talk to you all soon and feel free to say hi by leaving a comment.

Jenn and Chris - Engagement Session???
On Saturday I met up with Jenn and Chris again for their engagement session. Well … not really their engagement session, considering they are all ready married. Jenn and Chris were married over a year ago before Chris was shipped out to Iraq. On 7.7.07 they are having a another wedding.
Jenn and Chris by far have the best love story I have heard in a long time. When in 8th grade, Jenn went to visit her grandparents in California. Her grandparents volunteered her to help out at Vacation Bible School. It just so happens, Chris was also a helper at the church. So they flirted for a week like good 8th graders do. When Jenn returned to the east coast, she wrote Chris. They exchanged a few letter and then Chris stopped writing (shame on you.) Well then one day, several years later, Chris found those letter and took the chance to write Jenn again. It just so happened that she still live at the same address and actually got the letter. The rest is HISTORY. Isn’t that the best story ….
Anyway … back to Jenn and Chris’ pictures. These two were SOOOO much fun. I could have photographed them all day. I can’t wait for the wedding. We met up at the Art Museum … it was beautiful.

These two are HOT!

Chris is very GQ and he knows it (hehehe). In the middle of the session, we need to have a break out session for Chris. He is such a good sport.
This is definitely my favorite picture of the day.
Being that we were hanging out by the Art Museum, there were several weddings there. So this trolley just dropped off a wedding party and we decided to high jack it for a few minutes. What fun …
Oh, and how could I forget the best part of the day … I made my husband, Matt, come along as my assistant/2nd shooter. Here are a few shots of him in action … he really got into it.
Here are a few pictures Matt took … not bad, huh?

Jenn and Chris are my lucky 7.7.07 couple and I can’t wait for the wedding (and hopefully a Trash The Dress session after!!!) Check out Jenn and Chris’s sneak peak slideshow: here / Be the first to comment. Click here to add yours!
Spring is Here …. And Love is in the Air
Spring is here and that means engagement and wedding season. I am so excited … and of course the weather has helped the start of the season. I know I have been a bit behind on my blogging, but I’m back … and ready to go.
Veronica and Bob - Engagement Session
A little over a week ago I had the joy of meeting up with Veronica, and finally meeting Bob. We meet at Peddlers Village in Lahaska, PA for their engagement session. I had such a great time photographing these two, and from the looks of their pictures, they had a pretty good time too. They are certainly in love, and don’t mind showing it.
We got some “serious” shots, but of course we needed to have a little bit of fun. We got to Peddler’s Village pretty early so there were not a lot of people around. That allowed for a bit more fun, and in this case, the use of area props put out by the stores.

I have to give Bob props for taking dancing lessions. I expect a show. I can’t wait for the wedding … only 2 1/2 weeks away!!! Be sure to check out Veronica and Bob’s slideshow.

A Much Needed Weekend AWAY!!!
Matt and I finally got a chance to go away last weekend. We went to the Bavarian Inn in West Virgina. It is a beautiful old Inn, located on the Potomac River between Maryland and West Virgina. They also have an amazing restaurant with food that is to die for.
We were very excited that we were able to book a room with a fireplace, something we wish our house had.
Everything was great, down to all the little details.
Sunday morning we woke up to a mini blizzard. The snow was really coming down. Here is the view from our balcony. Beautiful!
Here is the front of the area snow covered.
