I’ve been caught….
You all got me. I did not blog yesterday. Good job to all those who realized it. Glad to see you are reading. Congrats to Amanda who was the first to e-mail me after realizing I did not blog yesterday. She will receive a $50 print credit toward a future portrait session. Remember, I am aiming to blog every day during the month of May. If I miss a day and you are the first to e-mail me calling me out, you will also receive the print credit. I’m sure I’ll purposely not blog at least one more time this month so someone else has a change to win.
Until tomorrow ……

Tips for Future Brides and Grooms — WIN A FREE GAS CARD!
First off Happy Cinco de Mayo.
So for today’s post I thought I would do something a bit different and I need your help for it. I am working on a list of tips for brides/grooms to be and I thought what better way to come up with tips then to ask those who have already been through the planning process and the wedding. So here’s the deal, I want to know what one thing you would change about your wedding and/or the planning leading up to it, that would have made things go a bit better for you. And you can’t say you’d change your photographer, unless of course you did not have me photography your wedding, then it’s fair game. Leave your tips below in the comments section.
To make the pot a bit sweeter, I will randomly pick a commenter and they will win a $20 gas card (that should get you what, like 4 gallons of gas, lol).
And just so that everyone can participate, not just us married folk, anyone can leave a tip that they think would be helpful for future brides and grooms.
Thanks and I look forward to all the great tips!

Andrew Joseph
Not too long ago I received an e-mail from Heather and AJ, a wedding couple of mine from 2006. They had given birth to their first baby, Andrew Joseph. Ironically, Heather’s sister also had a baby, a girl, about two weeks later. I had the pleasure of photographing both families and here is a favorite of mine from Heather, AJ and baby.

Introducing Rodney and Afton
Last Saturday I met Rodney and Afton at the Philadelphia Art Museum to do their engagement session. Despite to cold wind and the park guard coming over and bothering us, it was a great session. Rodney and Afton were so great to work with. They really had a lot of fun together and of course it does not hurt that they look great together. Enjoy!
Best wishes to both of you for next month!!!

Sal and Gina - They Did 4.11.08
On April 11th I photographed Sal and Gina wedding which took place at Fisher’s Tudor House in Bensalem. It was a great night! Here are a few of my favorites from the wedding.
As much fun as the wedding was, my favorite part was the next day when we did Gina and Sal’s Day After Session. I highly recommend this to all of my wedding couples. The Day After Session allows us to capture beautiful, more natural pictures of the two of you, without the rush and worry of getting the dress a bit dirty. I think Gina and Sal will agree that they made a great choice doing the Day After Session and I think the images speak for themselves. These were taken at Washington Crossing Historic Park. I was worried about the weather all day and right before we started it turned beautiful out.

Celebrating the new BLOG
Okay, to celebrate my new blog I am vowing to post every day during the month of May. Yes, that’s right, I will try and write a blog post every day for the next 31 days. Here’s the thing, if I miss a day, you just might benefit. The first person to e-mail me (kim@kimberlynoelphotography.com) and point out that I did not blog, will get a $50 print credit for a future portrait session. Here’s a couple rules:
1.) You must notify me within one day that I did not post. Meaning if I forget to post on Tuesday, by the end of the day Wednesday you must notify me. Thursday will be to late.
2.) Your print credit will be good for one year from the date of issue.
The best way to keep informed of what is going on with my blog is to subscribe to the blog. That way, daily updates will be e-mail to you.
So the challenge begins, let’s see if I can keep up!
