Adorable Natalia …

Adorable is the best word for Natalia.   She was a complete ham during her session.  But with that beautiful smile, it was everything I could have asked for!

We had to get one of mom and daughter….

Natalia was quite the little poser.  Once she got started, she had all her own ideas.

Thanks for a great session Talia and Susan!  Can’t wait to show off the rest ….

Brad and Leslie got married at Christ Church in Media, Pa.  They had a beautiful ceremony.

The reception was held at the Townhouse also in Media.  The Townehouse does an excellent job!  Joy Fox is the Banquet Director.

Leslie’s sister made a great toast … it had both Brad and Leslie cracking up.

I love taking a shot like while in at the Townehouse.  Their Jamestown Ballroom is connected to this awesome bar.  I love taking a good picture in front of it.

Happy Anniversary …. to me!

Yeah … Happy Anniversary to me and my wonderful hubby….

Unfortunately I am home alone tonight as he is working.  We’ve been married for four years.  Sometimes it seems like a million years ago (in a good way) and sometimes it feels like just yesterday.  It’s funny after I got married, everyone use to ask how married life is and of course I always said great.  But you know what, it really is, and still is, and hopefully still will be 50 years from now.  Of course it does not hurt that I have a great husband!!!

I personally feel my wedding four years ago was the best wedding ever, but of course I’m a bit bias.  But we sure did have fun, and that’s what it really is all about.  You and your spouse enjoying each other, friends and family and celebrating your love.  Nothing else really matters.  It’s easy to get so wrapped up in the wedding planning that before you know it the wedding comes and goes.  Sure you want and deserve everything to be perfect, but you know what …. I guess as long as your significant other shows up, your on the right track.  Two days before my wedding, I went to pick up my wedding dress … it was not ready yet.  Talk about stressing, but it was ready the next day.  Then we picked up the Tuxedos, and the ring bearer’s pants were too short and my Dad’s was the wrong size.  The Best Man was not arriving until the day before the wedding so we were crazy concerned that his tux would not fit.  But, we figure it all out and it was fine.  Then during our announcement at the reception when the DJ was announcing Matt and I, Matt or I, or both of us, tripped over my dress (I had quite the puffy dress) and we both almost fell over.  It was quite the laugh.  But despite it all, I still think I had the best wedding ever.

I was just talking with a potential bride for September (hi Vanessa) and it was great to hear how excited she was for her wedding.  That is what it’s all about.  The love, the excitement, the joy, the anticipation …. and the joy you feel every time your anniversary comes along.

So enough of my rambling, if you are planning a wedding … take a deep breath, tell your fiance you love him or her … and look forward to all the joyful years you will have to spend together.

Wedding of Sarah and Jevon

Sarah and Javon got married at the Eicher Arts Center in Ephrata.  What a fun couple.  They were both fantastic.  Here we have a few laughs during the rehearsal.

Then of course, Sarah’s stunning dress ….

I saw this chair in the room where Sarah and her sister’s were getting ready.  I just knew I had to use it for a picture.  If you don’t already know … I LOVE COLOR!!!

Sarah’s sister was a natural at the make-up.  Everyone look beautiful.

Sarah was absolutely adorable while she was getting ready.  Here she is admiring herself once her make-up was completed.  I love the face, but she does look beautiful.

A ceremony shot ….

After the ceremony, Sarah and Jevon had their reception at a bowling alley!  Yes, that’s right a bowling alley.  The first time I spoke with Sarah on the phone and she told me about the bowling alley, I knew these two were going to be a great couple to photograph.  That was certainly the case.  The bowling alley was a lot of fun.  The guest have fun, Sarah and Jevon had fun, and of course I loved photographing something different.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Can I Just Say ….

I HATE COMPUTERS ….

Okay, I had my night all planned out with work I was going to get done, when I turned my computer on and nothing … dead black screen.  So I call tech. support and I am not sure the guy I was talking too really knew what he was doing.  He said my hard drives failed, which while I have all my files backed up in other locations, is not something a photographer wants to hear.  So he had me open up my computer and try disconnecting and reconnected wires … I was not happy.  I was afraid I was going to break something.  Anyway, long story short …. all fixed and everything is fine.  But I still hate computers.

So not that you really care about my computer issues, lol …. but it kept me from taking pictures of a really super cool new sample album I received today.  It was from Sal and Gina’s wedding which I posted not too long ago.  Well I guess that will have to be tomorrow’s post.  Until then here is a cute picture I took of Elliot recently.  Good Night!!!!

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2009 ……………..

Attention High School Juniors:

I’m sure by now you are looking forward to the end of the school year and the day where you can finally officially say you are a high school senior. It’s such an exciting time. You are on the brink of the rest of your life and you deserve to have some fun and enjoy it all.

Now is the time to start thinking about senior portraits to help you remember this exciting and fun time. But I am not talking about the typical senior portraits your school wants you to take for the yearbook … the ones were you are sitting in a dull studio, wrapped in some drape or a cap and gown that looks a hundred years old. I’m talking about fun, edgy and trendy senior portraits that are FUN and truly show off your style and personality. I’m talking about feeling like you are a superstar for a few hours.

Sound interesting?????

I am looking for a few great senior portrait models to try out a more exciting form of senior portraits. Here is the deal. I am offering a free portrait session for the right to be seniors. You will receive the session for free as well as a free 5×7 and 16 wallets. All you have to do is have fun (and get your parent’s permission of course). The session will be about two hours and will include both trendy studio portraits as well as edgy outdoor portraits. About two weeks after the session you will come back to the studio for a viewing appointment and pick out your free prints.

What do you do next …. Send me an e-mail letting me know you are interested ….

P.S - Any current seniors, class of 2008 are welcome to participate as well.
